Reaction to Office Ergonomics Training: Eyestrain Basics

Though there are people out there who have grown accustomed in getting around their daily businesses without depending on their eyesight, not everyone is blessed with such a gift. Our eyesight plays a vital part in getting work done. But majority of us tend to take our ability to see for granted. From day to day activities of staying out in the bright sunshine without eyewear to protect the glare of the sun or to simply sitting too near the televsion. Except for the risk of blindness, there is no easy cure into the blurred vision we see developing through the course of time.

As I read the article, I found myself having experienced most of what was enumerated within. I also found some very useful tips regarding how to prevent straining my eyes especially when I'm in front of the computer an hour too many everynight. Being in a computer related course myself, sitting in front of the computer obviously can't be avoided, so I'll just have to take extra precautions so as to avoid risking the vision of my eyesight.

A Ticket to Ride

Everyday is an ongoing change in a person’s routine life. We may not want this change, but we do have to learn and adapt in order to get what we want. I had taken a picture of this train a moment before it was about to leave for its destination. And like trains have its scheduled departure and arrival time, opportunities in life are similar to trains as it waits for no one. We constantly have to be alert and on the go with whatever situations might arise. The station in the avatar also seems like it is alienated. And experiencing everyday situations, it can be tough to go through it alone but one will end up gaining more a sense of independence as one learn to fends for oneself. Though I haven't always acquired all these traits, this is how I’d grown to believe what everyday life is.

I had rendered a greenish shade to my avatar. As evident in Mother Nature, most of the plants and trees grow in a greenish color. In a way, the freshness that Mother Nature ensues is similar to how a particular area in our society such as technology is as it constantly comes up with ever new mind boggling creations. I will then have to learn to adapt to these new creations though it might be time consuming may also improve my daily living.
